Another outstanding and dominant performance by Kyle Busch led him to victory lane Friday night at Darlington. He remained up front in the VFW Sport Clips Help A Hero 200 for most of the night and by the time the checkered flag fell, he was the leader.

This is Busch’s fifth Nationwide Series victory of the season and his seventh NASCAR win so far in 2013. Busch proved how dominant he is in this race and may only be a warm-up for what will come in tomorrow’s Cup race.

Other than a few cautions, this race went by fairly quickly. Busch led for about the first 50 laps before his teammate, Matt Kenseth, beat him off of pit-road to snag the lead. The caution that set up the lead change, featured another of Busch’s teammates, Elliot Sadler. Sadler spun between turns one and two, but that didn’t slow him down as he ended the night finishing second.

After Kenseth had his share of the lead, Busch regained the top spot on lap 82. The fourth and last caution of the day flew on lap 119 for Kyle Fowler who hit the wall in turn one. More pit stops under the caution and a variety of strategy, left top players scattered throughout the field on the last restart. Joey Logano became the new leader after not pitting on the restart and was able to stay out front until 18 laps were left to race.

Busch managed to fight his way back to the lead and made the last pass for the lead as he raced around Logano. For Busch, the mode was cruise-control in the last part of the race as he crossed the finish line first to take the victory. He is no stranger to victory lane at Darlington, with his last win in 2011.

Fans saw a lot of paint traded throughout the night, with a classic, but quick, Darlington race.

Knowing anything can happen, Busch hopes his most recent Nationwide success will carry-over to tomorrow’s 500 mile Sprint Cup race. Another Busch sweep might be in-store tomorrow, with his weekend off on the right foot with this win.

There will be more Darlington action tomorrow night and fans won’t want to miss any part of the event because it will be one great race.
