Anthony Lum is an engine specialist for John Force Racing’s top fuel dragster, Courtney Force.  Hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, his nickname is ‘Pineapple’ and he now lives in Brownsburg, Indiana.  Lum is employed at John Force Racing as of 2012 and via a few questions, fans can learn more about this dynamic JFR team member.

How did you get involved in drag racing?

My entire family consists of gear heads and was born into drag racing.

What is your background (education/work/racing experience)?

Have worked on outlaw streetcars, pro mods, alcohol funny cars and dragsters, nostalgia funny cars and dragsters, and road course.

What are your team responsibilities?

Work on left side of engine assembly, fuel system and push rods

What is your favorite part about being involved with drag racing/working at JFR?

The professionalism, will power, desire and motivation – A total domination mindset!

What is your favorite Track/Race?

Charlotte, Indy, Pomona

What are your Hobbies/Interests?

All forms of motorsports, fishing, camping, hunting, design and fabrication
