JasonJourneylogo400x300The magical tour I took of the Charlotte Motor Speedway a few weeks ago still has lasting memories.  I was so inspired by the media center, that I want to write about it this week.

It was vast and wide with empty desks and chairs that will be filled by some of the best in the NASCAR media, come race weekend. There I was walking down the aisle, seeing the computer plug-ins and the interview desk. Thinking that I could be here in five years from now, writing, talking, and living my dream. Camping World Truck Series Gearing Up for Eldora

The Truck Series will be hitting the dirt later this month in likely the most anticipated truck race in their history. Racing on dirt hasn’t been done in NASCAR since 1970, making this race even more special. Dirt racing experts along with many current Nationwide and Cup Series drivers have expressed interest in the event so the field will surely be stacked. Ryan Gifford Revving Up his 2013 Season

Ryan Gifford, 24, is competing in his fourth season for Rev Racing in 2013 and is currently ranked fourth in NASCAR‘s K&N Pro Series East. Gifford recently won the Blue Ox 100 at Richmond International Raceway, the fifth race of the series this season. Along with his win at Richmond, Gifford has posted three top-fives and four top-tens in just seven races so far, revving up his racing career.

Impressive stats for the young driver, named earlier this year, as one of thirteen in ‘NASCAR’s Next’ program. Being part of this élite group, Ryan Gifford is a driver for fans to keep their eye on in the 2013 season and beyond. Continue reading →
