Once-In-A-Lifetime Experiences Await Fans at The Sprint Unlimited

Fans Can Ride in Grand Marshal Pace Car, Present Winner’s Trophy and Serve as an Honorary Pit Crew Member

Presenting The Sprint Unlimited winner’s trophy, being a part of driver introductions and riding in a Grand Marshal car are just a few of the unique and exciting prizes that will be available for race fans who attend The Sprint Unlimited At Daytona on Saturday night, Feb. 15 at the “World Center of Racing.”

“The Sprint Unlimited is an event that is designed around the race fans,” said Daytona International Speedway President Joie Chitwood III. “As we kick off the new NASCAR season with this exciting star-studded event, fans in attendance will have the opportunity to participate in significant race roles and win some special experiences that will deliver long-lasting memories.”

Among the upgraded experiences that fans can win when attending The Sprint Unlimited At Daytona International Speedway include:

  • Presenting the winning driver with The Sprint Unlimited trophy
  • Riding in a Grand Marshal car during the pace laps of The Sprint Unlimited
  • Attending the driver’s meeting
  • Honorary pit crew member
  • Photo with the winning Sprint Unlimited driver in Gatorade Victory Lane

Race fans who already purchased tickets to The Sprint Unlimited may pre-register for the special prizes online at www.DISrewards.com beginning Feb. 3. Fans can also register on-site at DAYTONA Reward Stations powered by Windows in Sprint FANZONE, the Midway outside Turn 4 and in front of the Daytona International Speedway Ticket and Tours Building.

There will be hundreds of other opportunities for race fans to win prizes such as Daytona 500 and Coke Zero 400 race tickets, Sprint FANZONE passes, Gatorade Victory Lane access, team hauler and garage tours and VIP viewing of driver introductions.

The DAYTONA Reward Stations will also be open the following week on Saturday, Feb. 22 for the DRIVE4COPD 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and Sunday, Feb. 23 for the 56th annual Daytona 500 with more opportunities for fans to win prizes.

For the second straight year, The Sprint Unlimited will feature 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series pole winners and past champions of The Sprint Unlimited.

Twenty drivers are eligible for the 75-lap race including six-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick and Tony Stewart, who is making his return to competition for the first time since suffering injuries the summer of 2013.
