TV Host Matt Rogers Singing National Anthem for TreatMyClot.com 300 at Auto Club Speedway

Arcadia, California native was also American Idol finalist

Auto Club Speedway officials announced Monday that Arcadia’s Matt Rogers, TV personality, singer/songwriter and currently the host of GSN’s culinary reality series “Beat The Chefs” will perform the National Anthem prior to Saturday’s TreatMyClot.com 300 NNS race at Auto Club Speedway, March 22 at 2 p.m.PT, televised on ESPN. 

Rogers is best known for hosting “Coming Home,” a poignant reality docu-series on Lifetime, which followed the surprise reunions of military members and their loved ones, as they returned home from active duty. Rogers put his songwriting experience into play, by writing and performing the theme song for “Coming Home” titled “I’m Coming Home” which has since resonated and served as a voice for the experience of military families around the country.

Rogers’ first found fame as a finalist on Season 3 of FOX’s reality singing competition “American Idol” and has since gone on to host many television shows including Discovery Channel’s “Really Big Things,” CBS’s “There Goes the Neighborhood” and “American Idol Extra.” He has also worked as a correspondent on several entertainment and sports shows including “Entertainment Tonight,” “Access Hollywood,” “Turner Sports College Football,” “Best Damn Sports Show” and the TV Guide Network.  Matt continues his music career performing as “Rogers & Bos”.
