When trouble struck as the white flag was waving, Denny Hamlin was in the perfect position. He was out front and stayed there until NASCAR threw the yellow-flag for debris scattered across the frontstretch. This is the No.11 team’s first victory of the season and the one likely providing a Chase birth.

The Stockton 150 was a battle between two seasoned drivers in K&N West: David Mayhew and Greg Pursley. Mayhew held off many charges from Pursley to claim his first win since Phoenix in March 2012.
The California native got off to a good start by winning the pole for the race. The 2011 champ Pursley qualified in third. Mayhew led the first ten laps, before being passed by Pursley. Both drivers wouldn’t leave each other view throughout the night. Continue reading →
