CaptureChampionship Contenders Share Common Goal – Winning

Showcasing the exceptional talents of this season’s championship contenders on one of NASCAR’s most competitive stages has appeared almost seamless for the top-three in Nationwide Series standings.

Throwback Thursday – Nemechek Becomes first Non-Chaser to Win at Kansas

With Nextel becoming the sponsor of the Cup Series in 2004, NASCAR introduced a new points system as well.

The top-ten drivers in points after 26 races go on to battle it out for the championship over the last ten races of the season.

MB2 Motorsports drier Joe Nemechek missed the Chase field and was only racing for pride during the last ten races in 2004. The only bright spot in his season was grabbing the pole the week before at Talladega. Along with his own Busch Series team, Nemechek ran double-duty at Kansas. Continue reading

Clint Bowyer Celebrating 300th Start at Home Track – Kansas Speedway

Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz learned there’s no place like home and there’s reason to believe Clint Bowyer is thinking the same this weekend at Kansas Speedway. A native of Emporia, KS, there’s no better place to celebrate Bowyer’s 300th start than at his home track.

The Sprint Cup Series is back in action this weekend, and for the first time – and for Bowyer’s 300th start – they’re racing under the lights on Saturday night giving fans another reason to celebrate.

All this takes place on Saturday, May 10th at 7 pm ET on FOX, MRN and Sirius XM channel 90.

Company’s Success in NASCAR Mirrors Its Own Growth;

Camping World’s Run as Series Entitlement Sponsor to Extend to 14-Consecutive Years

NASCAR announced today it has reached a seven-year agreement with Camping World to stay on as the entitlement sponsor of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series through 2022. The new deal ensures that Camping World will own exclusive rights as title sponsor for a total of 14-consecutive years, equaling the longest entitlement sponsorship in the history of the national series, which is celebrating its 20th season.  Continue reading
