“Daniel is a special talent,” said Rev Racing owner, Max Siegel. ” We are proud to have been a part of his development as a driver and we are excited to see what the future holds for him. Along with Darrell and Kyle, Daniel is a testament to the success of the diversity program and we wish him the best in his latest endeavor.”
22-year-old Suarez, a native of Monterrey, signed a multi-year deal at Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, with a partial schedule for Kyle Busch Motorsports in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for the 2015 season. He has the support of Escuderia TelMex, the Mexico City Group working with NASCAR for many years in driver development programs. Suarez has sponsorship with ARRIS, a broadband and video technology company that will also be Edward’s primary sponsor in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
“Having the opportunity to run full-time in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with Joe Gibbs Racing is like a dream come true,” said Suarez. “Everyone knows how successful they have been in the Nationwide Series and I can’t thank ARRIS enough for supporting me next season. It’s also exciting to be part of this initiative with Carlos because I know his passion for racing and his desire to provide opportunities to others like me.”
Suarez made his Nationwide Series début with JGR earlier this season at Richmond International Raceway with a 19th-place finish.
For the 2014 season, Suarez is competing in both the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East and the NASCAR Mexico Toyota Series. In K&N East he has two wins, four top-fives and seven top-ten finishes this season. However, Suarez will miss the next K&N East race at Greenville Pickens Speedway as he will be in Mexico contending for the Mexico Toyota Series championship, where he is now first in the point standings.
Competing full-time for Escuderia TELMEX in the Mexico Toyota Series Suarez has four wins and six top-five finishes in ten starts.
Suarez returns to the K&N East at Dover International Speedway, for the last race of his career with Rev Racing and the beginning to his career with Joe Gibbs Racing.
