Mason Mitchell Scores First ARCA Victory at Chicagoland

Mason Mitchell finally broke into victory lane in the ARCA Racing Series at Chicagoland Speedway on Saturday.

Mitchell passed Justin Boston for the lead with six laps to go and never looked back for his first career win in the series.  The 20-year-old driver had four runner-up finishes in his last six races before his win this weekend. Continue reading

2004 saw two first-time winners at Chicagoland Speedway in the NASCAR Busch and ARCA Re/Max Series.

Justin Labonte was trying to make success out of a NASCAR career like his dad, Terry, and ran a part-time Busch Series schedule in preparation for full-time in 2005. After seven races under his belt, the younger Labonte didn’t have a top-ten finish heading into the series’ race at Chicagoland. Continue reading

Celebrating the accomplishments of drivers contending for the 2014 Sprint Cup Series championship, NASCAR has released several new elements to the paint schemes of race cars making the 16-driver Chase Grid.
