The Good Times Return to Irwindale Event Center

The history of the Irwindale Event Center has seen both good and bad times and after closing in 2012, the good times are once again upon this famed racing venue in the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. In late 2012, Jim Cohan, who ran the LA Driving Experience at the track was able to secure funding to re-open the speedway under his management. The track is back on the NASCAR Home Tracks schedule running a bi-weekly schedule for 2013. Jim Cohan, is now President/CEO, Irwindale Event Center bringing his experience to give the track it’s best chance at sustained success.  Continue reading
