JJ Haley is our guest on Fan4Racing Fan2Fan NASCAR & Race Talk on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 9 pm ET. Call 714-202-9918 or tweet @Fan4RacingSite or @Sal_Sigala during the LIVE broadcast any questions or comments.
After a rough start to his 2015 season, HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks driver, JJ Haley is picking up steam heading into the K&N East Meets West combo event at Iowa Speedway this weekend.
K&N East started their season at New Smyrna Speedway in February where, Haley finished 21st after an accident ruined his day. At Greenville-Pickens in April, he finished slightly better with an 18th-place finish.
With Bristol Motor Speedway next on the schedule, Haley went into the event aiming to shake off the string of bad luck plaguing his No. 5 Braun Auto team. 15-year-old Haley entered the race in fifth and finished with a top-ten finish.
“It feels good to finally get the ball rolling and get a ninth-place finish in the Braun Auto Chevy. The car was really good on the long runs, so those last few caution flags killed us. We are strong and I know there are more good finishes to come; I can’t thank everyone enough on this HScott Motorsports with Justin Marks team.”
After his ninth-place finish at Bristol, Haley entered his first ARCA Racing Series event of the season at Salem Speedway and brought home a top-five finish of fourth, in his best race of 2015.
