After winning twice with Lira Motorsports in the ARCA Racing Series this season, NASCAR XFINITY Series driver, Ryan Reed will try to make it three ARCA wins in their finale at Kansas Speedway this weekend.

Reed last drove for Lira Motorsports in their last race at Kentucky Speedway in September, capturing the checkered flag for Reed’s second ARCA win this year.

“It’s amazing when you drive as good of race cars as this one, how fun it can be,” said Reed.  “We started the day off in maybe an eighth-place car but my crew chief, Teddy Brown, and everyone at Lira Motorsports did a great job tuning up our hot rod. We just never gave up. We got out front and got track position.”
With 16 starts in the ARCA Racing Series, Reed took home his first ARCA victory in June at Chicagoland Speedway, which was also the first for Lira Motorsports, in their first full year in the series.
Roush Fenway Racing driver, Reed kicked off his 2015 racing season with a dramatic XFINITY Series win in their season opener at Daytona earlier this year. This past weekend, he took home an 11th-place finish with his No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association team. Reed is tenth in the series point standings after his top-15 finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Competing in a double-header at Kansas Speedway this weekend, Reed is racing with Lira Motorsports in the ARCA Racing Series event on Friday, October 16th and with Roush Fenway Racing in the XFINITY Series event on Saturday, October 17th.
Reed has made two previous starts at Kansas Speedway. In 2012, Reed recorded a tenth-place finish in the ARCA Racing Series event at the track. In 2014, he finished 12th in the XFINITY Series race at Kansas.
