“It’s really an honor to have the opportunity to drive the No. 55 Toyota Camry for a team like Venturini Motorsports.  Not only do we have fast and proven Toyota Camry’s, but also a veteran crew chief in Billy Venturini. I’m looking forward to the challenge of racing on larger tracks, it’s a completely different style of racing than anything I’ve done before, so I’m excited about taking on that learning curve and thankful I have a great team and great people to lean on for help.” said Sargeant.

This coming weekend, Sargeant is traveling west to take part in the second annual Winter Showdown with the SPEARS SRL Southwest Touring Series. The event takes place from February 26th through the 28th at Kern County Raceway in Bakersfield, CA. Last year, Sargeant finished second behind race winner Bubba Pollard and ahead of third place finisher and local favorite, Derek Thorn.
