TRINITY, N.C. – (February 5, 2018) – With a NASCAR career spanning over 30 years, including two driver championships and wins in all three of NASCAR’s national touring series, Bobby Labonte has the experience and knowledge of a highly select group in the sport. Labonte is excited to announce he is returning to FS1 and will continue to contribute his expertise and insights on the network’s popular television programs NASCAR RACE HUB and NASCAR RACE HUB WEEKEND EDITION.
As throughout last racing season, Labonte will frequently join Race Hub hosts, current and former drivers and crew chiefs to provide in-depth analysis of the Monster Energy Cup Series, Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series. Labonte is a former champion of both the Monster Energy Cup and Xfinity Series.
“Being part of FS1’s Race Hub last season, I really enjoyed sharing my insight, analysis, and perspective with the fans and viewers,” said Labonte. “It’s pretty cool to have the opportunity to continue with such a strong team at FS1 and ‘RACE HUB’. To share my viewpoint about the sport I love is something I am very proud to be able to do and I look forward to it each time I am on the show.”
FS1’s NASCAR RACE HUB, NASCAR’s most-watched daily news and update show, which enjoyed a 15% total viewership increase (166,000 vs. 144,000) in 2017 vs. 2016, airs Monday through Thursdays at 6:00 PM ET during the NASCAR season and is hosted by Adam Alexander and Shannon Spake. In addition to Labonte, returning analysts include Jeff Hammond, Jeff Gordon, Michael Waltrip, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Chad Knaus, Regan Smith, Todd Bodine, David Ragan, Drew Blickensderfer, Austin Dillon, AJ Allmendinger and Casey Mears. On the weekends, the show continues with NASCAR RACE HUB WEEKEND EDITION, hosted by John Roberts.
