Kaz Grala is our guest on Fan4Racing NASCAR Weekend Preview, Monday, February 26, 2018, at 9 pm ET. Call 929-477-1790 or tweet @Fan4RacingSite or @Sal_Sigala with any questions or comments during our LIVE broadcast.

After turning heads with a victory in his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway last season with GMS Racing, Kaz Grala is advancing his career by now racing with JGL Racing in the Xfinity Series this season. At 19 years of age, Grala plans on attending Georgia Tech this spring as a mechanical engineering major.

After finishing fourth at Daytona last week in the Xfinity Series season-opener, Grala returns to the No. 24 this weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway with some experience at several 1.5-mile tracks last year in the Truck Series. In nine starts at 1.5-mile ovals, Grala has earned five top-tens and one top-five finish, recording his best finish at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

JGL Racing started the 2018 season with a manufacturer switch to Ford and a technical alliance with Roush Fenway Racing. Grala is also a Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender this season and along with his new ride with JGL and his experience on 1.5-mile tracks he has some confidence heading to Atlanta.

“I’m really looking forward to this weekend’s race at Atlanta Motor Speedway,” says Grala. “I had a blast in the Truck Series race there last year, even though it was my very first mile-and-a-half race and I was trying to acclimate. We had a great run in Daytona last week, but that race is its own animal. This weekend in Atlanta, I’ll get my first real look at how an Xfinity car drives and handles. I’m also excited to kick off my partnership with Marlow’s Tavern this weekend.”

Grala’s sponsor Marlow’s Tavern – a modern American fare tavern with locations in Georgia and Florida – welcomes him to their Atlanta location (950 W. Peachtree Street), on Friday, February 23rd from 6:30 to 7:30 pm ET to sign autographs and give away two pit passes to Saturday’s race.

The Xfinity Series will run the Rinnai 250 at 2:30 pm ET Saturday, February 24th at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Pre-race coverage starts at 1:30 pm ET on FOX Sports 1 with radio coverage also available on PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
