Andy Seuss (No. 02 Robert B. Our Company Chevrolet) led Friday’s final practice for the Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards at Daytona International Speedway. Seuss’s fast lap came late in the session when he hooked up in a multiple car draft. He timed in at 49.437 seconds/182.050 miles per hour.
A former runner-up finisher at Talladega, Seuss led a former Daytona pole winner Sean Corr (No. 43 Nesco Chevrolet) who timed in second quickest at 49.522 seconds/181.737 miles per hour. Tyler Dippel (No. 52 Ken Schrader Racing Ford) was third at 49.723 seconds/181.003 miles per hour, Todd Gilliland (No. 4 Frontline Enterprises Toyota) fourth at 49.769 miles per hour, and Riley Herbst (No. 18 Monster/ORCA Coolers Toyota) rounded out the top five at 49.804 seconds/180.708 miles per hour.
Twenty-three teams participated in the final practice session. Notable drivers that elected to not make a lap included last year’s winner Michael Self (No. 25 Sinclair Lubricants Toyota) and last year’s General Tire Pole winner Natalie Decker (No. 54 N29 Capital Technologies Toyota).
