Hard rain forced the postponement of Wednesday night’s Alsco Uniforms 500 NASCAR Cup Series race until Thursday at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The rain, as described by FOX Sports broadcaster Mike Joy is ‘the party guest that will not leave.’

A Big NASCAR Truck Series Win for Chase Elliott over Kyle Busch nets 100K for Virus Relief

On his first try, the bounty hunter got his prey.

In the closing laps of Tuesday night’s North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Chase Elliott held off a determined charge from Kyle Busch. In the closing laps, Chase Elliott took the lead to earn the victory and a $100,000 bounty offered to any full-time NASCAR Cup Series driver who could beat Busch.

Post Coca Cola 600 Power Ranking with a Strong Run by Bowman and a Keselowski Win.

The Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway is the only NASCAR Cup Series race over 500 miles and four stages. The most extended race of the season is just three races after the most extended layoff in NASCAR history.

The Memorial weekend event is a grueling test of endurance and durability for the cars and drivers. Alex Bowman dominated early with Team Penske handling the field in the second half. Joey Logano won Stage 3. Then, Brad Keselowski claimed his first win of the season after a late-race caution. Although there’s a bit of a shake-up near the top of the newest power ranking, the top spot isn’t changing hands quite yet.

A Strong Finish for Brad Keselowski and Team Penske in the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway gives him another Crown Jewel victory.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran the show at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Coca Cola 600, one of NASCAR’s Crown Jewel races. This race is all about team endurance and their ability to adjust from day to night racing. The 600 miles at the 1.5-mile track is already a tough Sunday drive. Now, throw in a sunset and a track temperature decline in the middle of the drive, and this race becomes an annual challenge for many teams.
