Michael Waltrip will attempt the Daytona 500 in February. But it’s not with the team you would expect.

Waltrip will try to make the Daytona 500 field with Swan Racing in the No. 30. Swan Racing came under new ownership this past off-season and plans to run the full NASCAR season for the first time in the team’s history. David Stremme will remain with the team in 2013 but will have to sit out for the Daytona 500. Entry List for Sprint Cup Daytona Testing

Sprint Cup testing from Daytona will take place starting tomorrow. Testing is from 9am to 5pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday with mid day breaks. The test session will be televised live on SPEED everyday as well as on speedtv.com. If weather becomes a factor, NASCAR will allow testing on Sunday.

Brian Keselowski, Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski‘s older brother, will attempt to make the Daytona 500 in February. Brian will try to make the “Great American Race” in the No. 92 Toyota.

Recently, Brian Keselowski moved his team to Huntersville, NC in hopes of leading to more success and opportunities. One opportunity Keselowski hopes becomes a reality, is making the Daytona 500.
