Kyle vs. Kyle – All’s Fair in Love and Racing at Chicagoland Speedway

After a dramatic finish to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Overton’s 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, with Kyle Busch bumping Kyle Larson on the white flag lap to send the No. 42 spinning and take his No. 18 to Victory Lane.  This was following Larson getting into the quarter panel of Busch in the previous corner, allowing him to get by and take the lead.  While the crowd at Chicagoland Speedway expressed their displeasure, showering Kyle Busch with boos as he completed his cool down lap and celebrated on the front stretch – Larson was not one of them. Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Penalties for the Overton’s 400 Start

Following yesterday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup qualifying session at Chicagoland Speedway, the sanctioning body disallowed times from four drivers, No. 78 Martin Truex Jr,  No. 11 Denny Hamlin, No. 48 Jimmie Johnson, and No. 37 Chris Buescher, relegating them to the rear of the field to start today’s Overton’s 400 race, which now set for 2:32 pm ET.

Fans say “Let’s Go Places” with Toyota at Chicagoland Speedway

Other sports and events seem dull in comparison to NASCAR events that are a family-friendly experience, that spans the weekend.  At Chicagoland Speedway’s Champions Park outside the front stretch, there are a variety of activities offering fan interaction and fun with the Toyota Racing Activation Area prominently situated at the main entrance.  On Saturday, a very enthusiastic Toyota Racing representative shared an in-depth tour of the manufacturer’s display, broken into different sections. Brett Moffitt and Hattori Racing Proving They are More than Just the Little Team that Could

Coming into the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Overton’s 225 at Chicagoland Speedway, Brett Moffitt was a two-time winner this year with Hattori Racing and locked into the playoffs, already establishing it as the best year of his career.  However, it was a stressful beginning to the week as Monday through Wednesday they spent time trying to secure sponsorship and funding so they could be on track this past Friday and not lose their playoff and championship eligibility.  Introduced with the team back in 2015, Fr8Auctions was there up to help them out with sponsorship for Chicagoland this week and during their press conference in the Media Center, they said there’s sponsorship in place for Kentucky Speedway next week.
