A Different Perspective on Three Wins in a Row

One year ago, Chase Briscoe made his ARCA Racing Series debut for Cunningham Motorsports at Lucas Oil Raceway (LOR), running for a third team for the organization.  In that race, Briscoe earned his first top-ten finish of tenth.  363 days later, he dominated the last 130 laps of the 200 lap Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 at the track….taking his third consecutive checkered flag. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby Preview

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams converge at Eldora Speedway this weekend for the fan favorite event of the season the Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby on Wednesday, July 20th.  FOX Sports 1 coverage begins at 7 pm ET with a green flag around 9 pm ET with radio coverage on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.

The format this weekend on dirt will cover 75 miles over 150 laps during three segments 40-50-60 laps.

Eldora’s qualifying and race formats differ from the knockout qualifying seen weekly in the NASCAR Camping World Truck series. Below is a guide to how it works.

At Eldora, two-lap, single-truck qualifying determines the starting position for the qualifying races (five in total). A random draw determines the qualifying order with the fastest qualifier earning the Keystone Light Pole Award. Continue reading

LaJoie Picks Up First K&N Pro East Win Since 2012 at New Hampshire

Corey LaJoie returned to Victory Lane in dominating style Saturday night.

LaJoie led the final 34 laps and drove away from the field on a green-white-checkered finish to win the United Site Services 70 at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. It was LaJoie’s first win since 2012 when he had five victories en route to a runner-up finish in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. Continue reading

BREAKING NEWS: Dale Earnhardt Jr Not Racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

Dale Earnhardt Jr. will not compete in the July 17 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway after experiencing concussion-like symptoms.

Earnhardt, driver of the No. 88 Chevrolet for Hendrick Motorsports, was evaluated this week in Charlotte and today was not cleared by physicians to race. Alex Bowman will be the team’s substitute driver this weekend at New Hampshire. Continue reading
