‘X Factor’ Winner Tate Stevens to Perform National Anthem at April 21 STP 400

Season Two X Factor winner Tate Stevens is returning home to sing the national anthem prior to the April 21, 2013 STP 400. Stevens, who hails from Belton, Mo., is making his first appearance at Kansas Speedway prior to two concerts in Kansas City on April 21 and April 22, and the release of his debut album on April 23, 2013.

“I’m excited to have Tate perform the national anthem at his ‘hometown’ track,” said Kansas Speedway President Patrick Warren. “I know our fans will give him a great reception.” Continue reading →

Team Dover, Team Pocono to square off at home of Harrisburg (Pa.) Senators on April 24 in second annual contest

NASCAR veteran Elliott Sadler, as well as NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers Joey Coulter and 2012 champion James Buescher, have been added to the growing lineup of players for the Second Annual Celebrity Softball Game between Dover International Speedway and Pocono Raceway. John Wes Townley Takes the Pole for Lucas Oil 200

download (1)John Wes Townley earned the pole position on Friday for the Lucas Oil 200 Presented By MAVTV American Real ARCA Racing Series Presented By Menards season-opening event.  The race will run at 4:30 p.m. ET on Saturday at Daytona International Speedway (SPEED-TV)

Townley, in the No. 15 Zaxby’s Toyota with Venturini Motorsports, secured the pole with a lap speed of 181.313 mph on the 2.5-mile tri-oval.  Townley was also the fastest during Thursday’s rain-shortened practice. Continue reading →
