A graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, IN, Long’s career includes contributions at Landmark Communications, Greensboro News and Record, Caroll County Times, Idaho State Journal, Athlon Sports, Sports Illustrated, and USA Today. Long has also served as President at National Motorsports Press Association and has authored a children’s book on the history of the Daytona 500 and another book titled “The Petty Family Album: In Tribute to Adam Petty.”

Next, is Ryan Partridge, Irwindale’s NASCAR Whelen champion.
