Monster Monument in Victory Plaza now features a new ‘Gen 6’ Toyota Camry in time for race weekend at Dover International Speedway

One of the most recognizable structures in all of motorsports today received a new addition, as the Monster Monument in Victory Plaza at Dover International Speedway now features a “Gen 6” Toyota Camry in the Monster’s hand, just in time for the Sept. 27-29, 2013 NASCAR race weekend.  Continue reading

Pit strategy propels Joey Logano to third straight victory at Dover

In a race that was won by a choice on pit road, rather than by speed on the race track, Joey Logano parlayed a strategic late-race call into victory in Saturday’s 5-Hour Energy 200 Nationwide Series race at Dover International Speedway.

Logano trailed race leader Kyle Busch by five seconds with 40 laps left, but a two-tire under the fifth and final caution got Logano out front for a restart with 34 laps left, while a four-tire choice on the same pit stop buried Kyle Busch in traffic and changed the course of the race.
