There’s been no sophomore slump for Christopher Bell in his second full-time season in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

The 22-year-old Oklahoman tops the standings by seven points over defending series champion Johnny Sauter after an eighth-place finish at Daytona and win at Atlanta to open the season. Bell, who became the first driver to sweep the stages and win a race under NASCAR’s enhanced format at Atlanta, leads the Camping World Truck Series with seven playoff points. Continue reading →

After finishing 12th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona last weekend, Ben Rhodes rallied his ThorSport Racing No. 27 team to a fourth-place finish at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday in the Active Pest Control 200. Christopher Bell unquestionably had the dominant truck in Saturday’s Active Pest Control 200, but, in the end, the driver of the No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota Tundra had to work hard for the third NASCAR Camping World Truck Series victory of his career.

In the nightcap of a NASCAR doubleheader at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bell held off fellow Tundra driver Matt Crafton in a two-lap shootout to the finish for his first win of the 2017 season. Continue reading →
