Rain was the name of the game Sunday at Bristol Motor Speedway. It delayed the start of the race and went on to cause much more havoc when it brought the entire day to an end. When the skies opened up with two laps remaining, it was Carl Edwards leading the way after strategy paved his way to victory lane. Roush-Fenway Racing is ready to show that the continuity in the organization from last season will pay off in 2014. With losing Matt Kenseth and gaining Ricky Stenhouse Jr. came big change for RFR, but now that they have a fully adjusted year down, they are set to get back to their winning ways. Both Greg Biffle and Carl Edwards can put together title-contending seasons, as they have done in the past. 2013 didn’t include an RFR entry contending closely for the title like in years past, but 2014 opens the opportunity for it to happen again. With the new emphasis on winning, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. could also easily win and compete as well; putting success in the air at RFR for 2014. Continue reading →

Harvick Grabs Phoenix Win as Tenure with RCR Nears Finish

As 13 successful years with Richard Childress Racing comes to a close for Kevin Harvick, he potentially earned one last win with the team on Sunday. It was his second straight victory in the November Phoenix event and once again on Sunday, the win came with a dramatic turn of events. Edwards Wins, Logano, Truex Jr. Make Chase in Controversial Ending at Richmond

Saturday night in Richmond was expected to be wild, but it turned out to be even crazier than thought possible. It truly came down to the last few laps and one caution changed everything. A Clint Bowyer spin with seven laps to go shook up the Chase positions along with conspiracy-theorists again. Carl Edwards managed to sneak out with the victory and three more bonus points heading into the Chase.
