For the second time this season, an oily race track had an effect on the outcome of the race.
In Watkins Glen, at the August race, a track scattered with oil led to two passes for the lead on the final lap. When race leader Kyle Busch spun in the oil, it led to Marcos Ambrose and Brad Keselowski battling it out for the win. Ambrose eventually slid to the victory. Continue reading →

Starting in 2014, Kevin Harvick will be with a new team for the first time in his Sprint Cup Career. Harvick will leave Richard Childress Racing after the 2013 season and drive for Stewart-Haas Racing starting at the Daytona 500 in 2014.

This spring, in his Nationwide series debut at Richmond Speedway, Ryan Blaney finished an impressive seventh-place. Not only did Blaney finish in the top-ten for his prime-time debut, he did it in under-funded equipment, driving for Tommy Baldwin Racing.
