After a fast start to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff stretch, race teams were looking forward to Richmond Raceway as a race to bounce back into contention and further advance themselves in the point standings. Saturday night the NASCAR Cup Series raced in Richmond for the second race in the playoffs. This is the first time that Richmond Raceway is hosting a playoff race. This race is a bounce-back race for some of the drivers that struggled last week in the playoff opener.
