Getting to Know K&N East Rookie, William Byron at H Scott Motorsports with Justin Marks

CompletingĀ justĀ one full year in the Legends car before winning the 2013 US Legends Young Lions Division National Championship, William Byron turned Pro in January of 2014. He won the 2014 Charlotte (NC) Winter Heat Series US Legends Pro Championship and was then crownedĀ the Pro Legends Champion at Winter Nationals in Florida, taking a huge step in his young racing career.

Byron was signed by JR Motorsports in January of 2014 to compete regionally for NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr’s late-model program. His late-model effort began at Hickory (NC) Speedway, with sponsor Liberty University, a residential and online university in Lynchburg, VA. Continue reading →
