Dr. Patrick Staropoli Continues his Super Late Model Success at Citrus County Speedway

As a resident physician at Adventura Hospital in Florida, Dr. Patrick Staropoli is not your typical Super Late Model competitor. He’s not only a graduate from the University of Miami, Dr. Staropoli is also a member of Harvard’s Class of 2012. And a couple of weeks ago, he started his first race of the 2018 racing season by celebrating with his Super Late Model, Jim McCoy Motorsports team at Citrus County Speedway in Florida.  Continue reading →

A few short weeks ago, Patrick Staropoli and his Star Racing team finally celebrated winning the AutoNation Cure Bowl at Showtime Speedway in St Petersburg, Florida after his previous attempts at the bullring left him running out of gas, rained out and with an accident just five laps before the checkered flag. Last November, Staropoli finished runner-up at the track’s 50-lap season finale.  Continue reading →
