Heading into his fifth NASCAR Xfinity Series start with JR Motorsports at Iowa Speedway on Sunday, Zane Smith had confidence and momentum on his side. Including the last time Smith was behind the wheel of the No. 8 at Dover International Speedway on May 4th, the team has three out of four finishes inside the top-ten. Along with Smith’s ninth-place finish at Dover, Ryan Preece earned a top-five at Pocono with a fourth-place finish, and John Hunter Nemechek earned an eighth-place finish at Michigan.

Christopher Bell Wins in Dominant Fashion in Iowa

The seasoned open-wheel racer’s won the last three Chili Bowl Nationals in his native, Oklahoma — and Sunday led an astounding 186 laps of Sunday’s CircuitCity.com 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race while cruising to a commanding victory at Iowa Speedway.

Brett Moffitt Takes Home-State Victory in Eventful Iowa Race

NEWTON, Iowa — Brett Moffitt shed his race suit. He simmered silently in street clothes, sipped on a beer, and stewed over what seemed to be a missed opportunity at his home state track.

Reddick, Bell, and Custer are Miles Ahead of the Competition

Richard Childress Racing’s Tyler Reddick, Joe Gibbs Racing’s Christopher Bell, and Stewart-Haas Racing’s Cole Custer have been so impressive this season in the NASCAR Xfinity Series that they are starting to draw comparisons to last season’s ‘Big Three’ in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, and rightfully so.
