A graduate of Virginia Tech, Motley’s journalism career includes an internship at The Washington Post, and as a sportswriter and editor in Lynchburg, VA, until joining NASCAR.
Motley has also worked as a college football correspondent for FOX Sports Net, hosted his own daily sports talk show in Virginia and has been a contributing writer for numerous publications including several books.
