NASCAR Camping World Truck Series teams are back in action for 134 laps totalling 201 miles in the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 on Friday, May 20th at Charlotte Motor Speedway. FOX Sports 1 will begin their pre-race coverage at 8 pm ET with a green flag around 8:30 pm ET.  Preceding this race is the Sprint Showdown also on FOX Sports one starting at 7 pm ET.

After leading the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series with six victories in 2015, Matt Crafton visited Victory Lane for the first time this season when he captured his 12th career checkered flag at Dover International Speedway. Will. I. Am.: Byron Gets it Started with First Career Win

William Byron had a ‘good night’ last Friday.

The Kyle Busch Motorsports driver captured his first win in only his fifth career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start. Byron, who led the first 33 laps of his career earlier in the race, retook the point on the last go-around of NASCAR Overtime to take the victory that virtually guarantees him a spot in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase. Kansas was a dramatic race last season. Erik Jones, Tyler Reddick and Daniel Suárez all ran out of fuel while in the lead, and Matt Crafton saved enough in the tank to pass them for the victory.

Crafton is the only full-time Truck Series driver with a win at Kansas. Johnny Sauter (third), Timothy Peters (fourth), Cameron Hayley (fifth) and Daniel Hemric (tenth) all finished in the top-ten in last season’s race.  Continue reading

The high-octane NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has the next three weekends off before returning on Friday, May 6 for the Toyota Tundra 250 at Kansas Speedway at 8:30 pm ET.

Nemechek’s in at Top of Truck Series Standings

John Hunter Nemechek continued his sizzling start to his first full-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season by finishing runner-up in Saturday’s Alpha Energy Solutions 250 at Martinsville Speedway.

The 18-year-old NASCAR Next member now ranks first in the Camping World Truck Series standings, three points ahead of Parker Kligerman. Nemechek has all but locked up a berth in the Camping World Truck Series Chase via his win at Atlanta.

He has finished second or better in four of his last five Truck Series starts and five of his last seven. Continue reading
