After a two-year hiatus, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 28. Ty Dillon, the 2013 series runner-up is expected to be the only previous winner returning for the Hyundai Construction 200 and is also the latest driver to capture a victory at the track (8/31/12). The Truck Series has not raced at Atlanta in March since 2010 when Kevin Harvick took the checkered flag from the fourth starting spot. ThorSport Packs 1-2 Punch

ThorSport has not one, but two drivers at the top of NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series standings following a record-setting performance at Michigan this weekend.

Team drivers Johnny Sauter and Matt Crafton finished 1-2 in Saturday’s Careers For Veterans 200, blazing away from the field in the fastest race in series history with an average speed of 161.1ten mph. The new mark demolished the previous record of 154.737 mph set at Texas Motor Speedway in 2012.  Continue reading

Justin Allison Adds his Name to Family Winners’ Circle

 

ARSlogoWith pit strategy and weather in play at Pocono Raceway, ARCA Racing Series driver Justin Allison earned his first series win in the ModSpace 125.

Justin Allison is the third member of the Allison family to win an ARCA race. Davey won eight times and Bobby once.

“It’s pretty cool to win here,” he said. “The Allison’s have a lot of history at this track. It definitely means a lot to get this first win here.”
