A Different Perspective on Three Wins in a Row

One year ago, Chase Briscoe made his ARCA Racing Series debut for Cunningham Motorsports at Lucas Oil Raceway (LOR), running for a third team for the organization.  In that race, Briscoe earned his first top-ten finish of tenth.  363 days later, he dominated the last 130 laps of the 200 lap Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 at the track….taking his third consecutive checkered flag. The ARCA Racing Series has been on a week-long break and Venturini Motorsports driver, Tom Hessert is ready for action at Lucas Oil Raceway in Friday night’s Sioux Chief PowerPEX® 200 presented by Jive at Lucas Oil Raceway.

And there’s good reason, for Hessert’s No 25 Venturini Motorsports team to look forward to this weekend. Lucas Oil Raceway is the second race in the four-race event known as the Bill France Four Crown Championship – a prestigious title that every ARCA driver strives to earn.  Heading into the race this weekend Hessert is leading the way with a slim advantage over his teammate Dalton Sargeant and the series’ point leader Chase Briscoe. John Wes Townley Not Cleared for Truck Return; Brady Boswell Expected to Drive at Eldora Speedway

Continuing to experience concussion-like symptoms, veteran NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver John Wes Townley will sit out Wednesday’s Aspen Dental Eldora Dirt Derby at Eldora Speedway.

A spokesperson for Athenian Motorsports confirmed the news to CATCHFENCE.com, stating that Townley was not medically cleared to return to competition this week. Continue reading
