The Nationwide Series teams are at Phoenix International Raceway for the Blue Jeans Go Green 200 presented by Cotton, The Fabric of Our Lives and on Saturday, March 1st at Phoenix International Raceway, they’ll run 200 miles in 200 laps on the one-mile track. Smith Starts Season Off Right with Daytona Victory

A somewhat surprising outcome to the Drive4COPD 300 featured the outside lane pushing Regan Smith to victory. All day, the outside lane struggled to keep up with the inside lane. The last restart changed everything as Smith was able to stay door-to-door with Brad Keselowski on the inside lane. Smith’s win was the first for a Nationwide regular in the season opener since 2001 when Randy LaJoie took the checkered flag.
If anyone were to say Regan Smith would have ended up in victory lane at the beginning of the race, they would have met weird looks. Smith was not a contender early. It wasn’t until a bit past the halfway point when he was able make it to the front.
Kyle Busch seemed the favorite early as he led for most the race. When Smith took the lead on Lap 76, it was from Busch. Smith and Keselowski seemed the only two drivers able to keep Busch away from the top spot. Continue reading
Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola Preview
Chicagoland Speedway is host to the Nationwide Series drivers and their Dollar General 300 Powered by Coca-Cola race on Saturday, September 14th. Television coverage begins at 3:30 pm ET on ESPN2 with radio coverage on MRN, Sirius XM radio, channel 90 for all 300 miles and a total of 200 laps.
The last visit by the Nationwide Series to Chicagoland Speedway in July, Sam Hornish Jr finished runner-up to Sprint Cup regular Joey Logano and it was Austin Dillon crossing the finish line third. Continue reading

A little short track out in Iowa will light up for the second time this season when the Nationwide Series hits this tough venue. Rain drenched the race last June, forcing a move to Sunday and then Trevor Bayne and Austin Dillon dueled it out for the victory, with Bayne coming out on top. With the weather looking good, the cars will race under the lights on Saturday night to continue the championship chase. Continue reading

The famous yard of bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway was home to a new series last season, and once again in 2013, the that series is returning for their next race. A successful debut at the world-famous circuit has the Nationwide Series returning this weekend for the second annual Indiana 250. Cup regulars stole the show by using their track experience last season, but the Nationwide regulars are prepared to put up a fight with one race under their belts.
