Every racer sets their sights on advancing to the highest level of their sport and for NASCAR K&N East driver, Dominique Van Wieringen, that means racing within NASCAR’s top-three national series. Just wishing to advance one’s career is, of course, not enough. In this case, it takes having talent and skill behind the wheel and in most cases working hard to capture the eye the right people who will support that goal as their own as well. NASCAR K&N East Points Leader Decision at Mobile International Speedway

NASCAR K&N Pro Series East drivers are anxious to decide their points leader after K&N West driver, Todd Gilliland won their season opener at New Smyrna in February. Their wait is over with the Mobile 200 starting today at 3 pm ET at Mobile International Speedway.

Several contenders are ready to show their talent behind the wheel with hopes of taking over the points lead when the checkered flag waves today.

Spencer Davis heads into Mobile as the K&N East leader in the series standings. The rookie is overcoming a destroyed car after getting into an accident during the extra lap at New Smyrna. Despite those unfortunate circumstances, the 17-year-old Dawsonville, Georgia, native persevered and finished runner-up and the top K&N East driver. Continue reading →
