Carson Hocevar grabs his first NASCAR Truck Series win in double overtime at Texas Motor Speedway in the SpeedyCash.com 250, Saturday.

Nick Sanchez had a dominant 168 of 172 laps in Saturday’s SpeedyCash.com 250 at Texas Motor Speedway. The 21-year-old rookie and reigning NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion Zane Smith collided at the front of the field after taking the white flag and Carson Hocevar instead drove through to take his first career victory in double overtime.

Tyler Reddick avoids tire troubles to win at Texas Motor Speedway in the NASCAR Cup Series AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500 on Sunday.

The second round of the 2022 playoffs kicked off with a 500-mile race at Texas Motor Speedway. It was a hot weekend that limited the handling ability of several next-gen racecar drivers. Texas Motor Speedway’s surface is extremely slick, and it seems that drivers have to tiptoe around this track to avoid spinning out. With a NASCAR Cup Series championship on the line, we will see which drivers throw caution to the wind with aggressive driving and strategies heading into the Round of 12.

Tyler Reddick is the NASCAR Cup Series Playoff Spoiler with a Win at Texas Motor Speedway in the AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500 on Sunday.

FORT WORTH, Texas _ They say everything is “bigger” in Texas and certainly NASCAR’s Round of 12 Playoff opener at Texas Motor Speedway lived up to the billing. From Playoff consequences to a red flag delay to bumper-banging aggression, tire fall-off, and record statistical marks, there was no shortage of competitive drama in Sunday’s AutoTrader EchoPark Automotive 500.
