Elliott Poised for First Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Win at Texas

After making the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs as a rookie in 2016, talented 21-year-old Chase Elliott has raised his performance in his sophomore season.

William Byron Sets Sights on First Win

William Byron has always been a quick study. He won four races as a rookie on his way to the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East championship in 2015. Last year, he set the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series rookie record with seven victories. The 19-year-old Charlotte native was also a straight-A student in high school and is finishing up his sophomore year at Liberty University. Continue reading →

Drivers Bid Farewell to Old Asphalt at Atlanta Motor Speedway

If it were up to the world’s best stock car drivers, race tracks would never be resurfaced.

In fact, faced with the final race on old pavement at Atlanta Motor Speedway — Sunday’s Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 — Dale Earnhardt Jr. facetiously suggested on Twitter that he and his compatriots hold some sort of memorial for the soon-to-be-jackhammered old asphalt. Continue reading →
