The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has a week off before their next race on dirt at Eldora Speedway for the Dental Eldora Dirt Derby on Wednesday, July 20th. There are three segments of 40 – 50 – 60 laps for a total of 150 laps covering 75 miles of this fan favorite event. Television overage is on FOX Sports 1 starting at 8:30 pm ET with the green flag around 9 pm ET. Byron Captures Fourth Win, KBM’s Record 51st Victory At Kentucky

William Byron led a race-high 70 laps on his way to his Camping World Truck Series-high fourth victory of the season in last Friday’s Buckle Up In Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway. Byron’s triumph was the 51st Camping World Truck Series win for Kyle Busch Motorsports, which surpassed Roush Fenway Racing (50) for the most wins in series history. Continue reading →

Byron Holds Off Nemechek, Hemric for Record Camping World Truck Series Win

William Byron didn’t have the fastest truck at the end of Thursday night’s Buckle Up In Your Truck 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

But Byron had the most important ingredient in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at the newly repaved and reconfigured 1.5-mile track. Byron held the top spot for all 42 laps after the last restart of the event on lap 108 of 150.

It was no cakewalk. Byron had to stave off assaults from both runner-up John Hunter Nemechek and third-place finisher Daniel Hemric, who dogged the race winner – and each other – for the entire closing green-flag run. Continue reading →

Burnin’ Hot: Byron Blazes to Third Victory

William Byron has raced for less than four years, yet is dominating the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Byron, 19, blazed to his series-leading third win of the season at Iowa and has visited Victory Lane in the series’ last two races. The 2015 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East frontrunner made only one start in the Camping World Truck Series before this season.

Now, he looks to tie a record. If Byron or teammates Christopher Bell or Erik Jones can earn a victory, Kyle Busch Motorsports would tie Roush Fenway Racing for the most owner wins in Camping World Truck Series history with 50. Continue reading →

Byron Blurs to Second Win at Texas

The record for youngest Texas winner fell for the second consecutive race after William Byron darted by Matt Crafton with five laps remaining to win the Rattlesnake 400 at Texas Motor Speedway last Friday.

Three-Peat: Crafton Goes for Third Straight June Texas Victory

Matt Crafton, who’s won the last two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series races this season and the past two June contests at Texas Motor Speedway, will go for his third consecutive win in Friday’s Rattlesnake 400 at the 1.5-mile track.

In 30 career starts at Texas, Crafton owns two wins, 11 top-fives, 19 top-tens and a 9.7 average finish. He has placed in the top-ten in his last nine starts there. The ThorSport Racing driver also has three runner-up showings at Texas. Continue reading →
