After a few weeks off, the NASCAR XFINITY Series returns to action at Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Hisense 4K TV 300 at 1 pm  ET on FOX Sports 1, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio this Saturday, May 27.

Drivers will race 300 miles over 200 laps with Stage 1 ending on lap 45 and Stage 2 on lap 90.  The last Stage will end on lap 200. Continue reading

NASCAR XFINITY Series Sparks Energy 300 at Talladeg

NASCAR XFINITY Series Teams are about to take to the track for the Sparks Energy 300 at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday, May 6th. Television coverage is on FOX at 12:30 pm ET, with the race start at 1 pm ET. Radio coverage is on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.

Drivers will race a distance of 300.58 miles over 113 laps with Stage 1 ending on lap 25 and Stage 2 on lap 50. The final stage ends of the last lap 113. Continue reading

Kyle Larson Steals a Win in NASCAR XFINITY Series Race at Richmond

Justin Allgaier had the best car in Saturday’s ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Richmond International Raceway.

Kyle Larson isn’t very good at Richmond—and isn’t bashful about saying so.

Nevertheless, when two late restarts played out at the 0.75-mile short track, Larson was the race winner in overtime, and Allgaier was a disappointed second, consoled only by the $100,000 check he collected as the winner of the XFINITY Dash 4 Cash bonus as the highest finishing series regular. Is the “Old” Bristol Experiencing a Rebirth?

As it turned out, Kyle Busch was prophetic when he talked about the changing character of Bristol Motor Speedway.

“I’m sure (Kyle) Larson’s thrilled and he’ll have to rubber in the top himself while the rest of us are rooting and gouging for the bottom,” was Busch’s tongue-in-cheek assessment of the racing characteristics of the 0.533-mile short track, where Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers will compete in the Food City 500 on Sunday (2 pm  ET on FOX).
