Round Two of Sprint Cup Testing at Charlotte Motor Speedway – Entry List

Teams will have a second crack at Charlotte Motor Speedway with the Generation six car before the new season starts. Sprint Cup teams will test at Charlotte Thursday and Friday. Many more teams will be at Charlotte those two days, than the first test in mid December of 2012. There are 33 cars on the entry list for the test session, where drivers and crews should find out much more about the Generation six car and what they can do to improve with more drivers’ input.

While teams are testing at Charlotte, fans will be able to watch crews go to work from the stands. Charlotte Motor Speedway is also helping fans have a better experience, by offering anyone who buys NHRA or Sprint Cup tickets during testing will receive a free 1:24 die-cast. And as a bonus, fans will also receive a voucher to rent a radio scanner for a day of testing, allowing fans to listen to their favorite drivers. The track will also be offering behind-the-scene tours and concessions for the fans.

If you’re a NASCAR fan in the Charlotte area, Thursday and Friday will be a good time to get a taste of NASCAR before the season begins.
