Thunder Valley will come alive this Saturday afternoon as the NASCAR Nationwide Series rolls in for their fourth race of the season. After Bristol under-went surface changes prior to last Augusts’ race weekend, the racing similar to “Old Bristol” returned which featured lots of beatin’ and bangin’.

The Nationwide Series race last August featured lots of carnage along with bumping between the drivers. If that race indicates how the race will play-out this Saturday afternoon, you won’t want to take your eyes off of the cars. “Old Bristol” is back and great racing will be on display during the Jeff Foxworthy’s Grit Chips 300 this Saturday. Names are made on this short track in Bristol, Tennessee and every year, a new face is running up front. As the Sprint Cup Series rolls into Bristol for another race in the 2013 season, excitement is assumed to show up simply because it’s Bristol Baby! Charlotte Motor Speedway will be on the “cutting edge” of American motorsports April 6-7 as the Food Lion AutoFair hosts the STA-BIL Lawn & Garden Mower Racing Series for two days of dirt track racing on lawn mowers at speeds up to 60 mph.

Hard rockers Stephen Pearcy (vocals), Warren DeMartini (guitar), Bobby Blotzer (drums), Juan Croucier (bass) and Carlos Cavazo (guitar) – will perform hits including “Round and Round,” “Wanted Man,” and “Lay it Down” as well as many other fan favorites, shuttling listeners to a time when metal ruled the earth and real musicians wore eyeliner like a badge of honor. Jeremy Clements Reinstated by NASCAR

NASCAR has reinstated Jeremy Clements after his completion of stipulations following his indefinite suspension from NASCAR on Feb. 27 for violating the sanctioning body’s Code of Conduct policy. Clements will be on NASCAR probation until Sept. 13, 2013.

“As part of the requirements for reinstatement, Jeremy Clements participated in an individualized program with Dr. Richard Lapchick and his staff at the Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sports,” said Steve O’Donnell, NASCAR senior vice president of racing operations. “In Dr. Lapchick’s judgment, Jeremy has successfully completed the program. We’re pleased that Jeremy has taken these important steps and will return to racing starting this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.”
