In another impressive Nationwide Series performance, Kyle Busch is back in victory lane for the third straight race. Busch has been on a roll so far this season and four wins in six races isn’t too bad. He managed to stay out front all night and was there to take the checkered flag when it fell. Although lots of big-time Cup Drivers were in the race, Kyle  Busch was the best of all and that put him in victory lane at the end of the night. Continue reading →

Chip Ganassi To Sell Cup Team? To John Menard?

The big news out of Thursday’s test day at Texas Motor Speedway is that Chip Ganassi could be selling his Sprint Cup team to a Menard. That is John Menard, a long-time racer and supporter in the Sprint Cup Series.

It is no secret that Earnhardt Ganassi Racing has struggled in recent years. Juan Pablo Montoya’s top-ten last week at Martinsville was his first since June of last season at Michigan. Neither Jamie McMurray or JPM have battled for wins since 2010 when McMurray won the Daytona 500 and at Indianapolis. The last time an EGR team made the Chase was in 2009 with JPM. Brad Keselowski is going to the White House.

This year only the Sprint Cup champion and his team will be making a trip to the White House. In the past, all Chase drivers from the previous year make a trip together to see the President. This year, Brad Keselowski will go as the only driver but he will bring his Penkse Racing team and crew with him. Continue reading →
