CHARLOTTE, N.C. (June 15, 2020) – In a NASCAR season marked by historical firsts, the 36th running of the NASCAR All-Star Race will move 159 miles northwest from Charlotte Motor Speedway to the World’s Fastest Half-Mile, Bristol Motor Speedway, for the first time. The July 15 prime-time race will include fans in attendance at a Speedway Motorsports facility for the first time since the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

Denny Hamlin finds third victory in NASCAR’s Cup Series this year in the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday night.

Homestead-Miami Speedway played host for the Dixie Vodka 400 on Sunday afternoon. For the first time, Cup drivers are racing at Homestead in summer instead of the championship event in fall. Near the mid-season, some drivers are struggling to find victory lane, while others are riding on momentum. With no practice or qualifying, teams are showing up on race day to figure out what they have in their cars. This challenge is adding new excitement to NASCAR racing.

Denny Hamlin’s Third 2020 Win in the NASCAR Cup Series came in the Dixie Vodka 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sunday night. It was his third win at Homestead and his 40th career victory.

The race statistics will show that Denny Hamlin led a dominating 138 of the 267-laps in Sunday’s Dixie Vodka 400, but the truth is he had to earn every fraction of a second that the driver paced the field. It was a thrilling chase for the checkered flag, lap-after-lap among the front-running cars.
