Jesse Love wins again in the ARCA Menards Series West, this time in the ENOES 125 presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Irwindale Speedway.
Making it two ARCA Menards Series West victories in a row, Jesse Love held off an Irwindale Speedway favorite, Trevor Huddleston, in the ENOES 125 for his second win in two weeks.
Love was able to earn his first ARCA West victory last week at Utah Motorsports Campus.
The 15-year-old from Menlo Park, California, prevailed over a hard-charging Huddleston in the closing laps at Irwindale. Trevor Huddleston is a multi-time winner at Irwindale and the son of track owner, and former NASCAR driver, Tim Huddleston.

After earning the General Tire Pole Award, Love powered his No. 19 Bill McAnally Racing car to lead nearly every lap. The only other driver to briefly lead is Trevor Huddleston. On a late-race restart, Love pulled away to win by 0.680 seconds over Huddleston. Just four races into his ARCA career, Love now has two victories and two runner-up finishes.
“We were able to save our tires,” said Love. “On every restart, he’d get closer and closer, and he’d get better on his shifts and his restarts.
“He drove it in there, and took it from me, and made his own lane. … We got a caution, and I wanted it really bad and took it from him. And we were able to get one. Got a little bit of (tire) marks (on the door). But our front end’s clean, that’s all I’m worried about.”
Becoming the seventh different Bill McAnally Racing driver to win at Irwindale Speedway since the track opened in 1999, Love gave BMR their 14th victory at the paved half-mile oval.
Settling for second-place, Huddleston is a three-time Late Model champion at Irwindale. In third-place is Love’s BMR teammate Gracie Trotter, who held off Huddleston’s Sunrise Ford teammate, Blaine Perkins. To round out the top-five is Devin Dodson.
Rounding out the top-ten are Johnny Borneman, Todd Souza, Dustin Ash, Lawless Alan, and Takuma Koga.
