Kyle Larson Slides Past Chase Elliott to Win at Watkins Glen

Kyle Larson slides past Chase Elliott to win at Watkins Glen International in the NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at The Glen on Sunday afternoon.

Watkins Glen hosted the NASCAR Cup Series for another road course race in the 2022 campaign. Two more races were left before the beginning of the playoffs. With only one spot open, teams are scrambling to find a way to make the playoffs. Meanwhile, Ryan Blaney is holding on as tight as he can to that last spot. If one more driver wins his first race on the season, it could be over for Ryan Blaney and his team.

Kyle Larson Sweeps the NASCAR Weekend at The Glen

Kyle Larson sweeps the NASCAR weekend at The Glen with a NASCAR Cup Series win in the Go Bowling at The Glen on Sunday afternoon.

For the second-consecutive day, Kyle Larson took his first lead of the race with five laps remaining and held off road course ace and fellow Californian A.J. Allmendinger for a trophy. Larson completed the rare weekend sweep at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International Sunday afternoon with a clutch win in the NASCAR Cup Series’ Go Bowling at the Glen.

Jesse Love wins on dirt at the Springfield Mile in a chaotic close to the ARCA Menards Series Atlas 100 on Sunday afternoon.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — A muddy Atlas 100 on the Springfield Mile at the Illinois State Fairgrounds, which ended up being shortened by 30 laps due to time constraints, saw Jesse Love lead wire-to-wire from the General Tire Pole for his second career ARCA Menards Series (national) victory.

Tanner Reif wins at Evergreen Speedway in the ARCA West Series 1000th race, the NAPA Auto Parts 150 on Saturday evening.

MONROE, Wash. — Jake Drew’s three-race win streak in the ARCA Menards Series West came to an end at Evergreen Speedway on Saturday at the hands of his Sunrise Ford Racing teammate, Tanner Reif.
