Ricky Lewis was Born to Race!

Ricky Lewis, a 14-year-old from Oxnard, won a national Bandoleros qualifying race at Kern County Raceway in Bakersfield several weeks ago!

The race attracted aspiring drivers from all over the western United States. Drivers from Nevada and Arizona were competing for a spot in a national race for Bandoleros teams in North Carolina. Only the top drivers were invited to the national race. Continue reading

James Day Never Doubted his Racing Future

California native, James Day, grew up on the pavement of Pomona Raceway, watching his father, Richard Day, race nitro funny cars. Dreaming of following in his father’s footsteps, James became a licensed pilot of not only a nitro funny car, but Top Alcohol Funny Car, Top Alcohol Dragster, Nostalgia Top Fuel, and Nostalgia Fuel Funny Car.

There was never any doubt in James Day’s mind that driving a race car could be in his future.
