Iowa Victory Lane Welcomes Newcomers

In its six-year history hosting the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Iowa Speedway has seen one repeat winner, Timothy Peters. With only three past winners including Peters, Ryan Blaney and Matt Crafton, expected to run Friday’s race, a new face in Victory Lane would be no surprise. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will close out the weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with the Sunoco 100 Saturday.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will have double the action this weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.  The inaugural, non-points event Whelen All-Star Shootout will take place Friday afternoon before NASCAR Nationwide Series final practice.

Race will feature past champions and previous winners from both the Whelen Modified and South tours, as well as the 2013 Rookie of the Year from both series, with the entry list being capped at 20 cars. Continue reading →
