Big Name Inductors and Active Drivers Add to NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Star Power 

A brother, a contemporary, a rival, a colleague and a friend will all take the stage to induct this year’s Class of 2014 into the NASCAR Hall of Fame.

Richard Petty, Waddell Wilson, Harry Gant, Humpy Wheeler and Blake Shelton will induct the fifth class – Maurice Petty, Fireball Roberts, Jack Ingram, Tim Flock and Dale Jarrett – on Wednesday, Jan. 29 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C.

The five legends, who account for 15 NASCAR championships, will also be joined on stage by five current stars, combining for 15 national series championships of their own. Aric Almirola, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart will all take part in the evening’s festivities.

The Induction Ceremony begins at 7 p.m. ET and will air live on FOX Sports 1, Motor Racing Network and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio. Tickets start at $45 and are available at www.nascarhall.com/inductees/induction-ceremony and the NASCAR Hall of Fame box office. Continue reading →

James Buescher Ready with RAB for 2014 Nationwide Season

James Buescher is coming off three successful full-time seasons in NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series, including a championship with four wins in 2012, adding two more victories in 2013. He also recorded one Nationwide Series win, taking the checkered flag in the 2012 series’ season-opening race at Daytona International Speedway.

For 2014, Buescher is excited about his new team, RAB Racing. They announced in December a multi-year agreement to compete full-time in the Nationwide Series. Buescher understands the importance of his experience as he looks forward to his future. Continue reading →

Different Winners, Crashes, and Controversy Headline this Year’s Rolex 24

Action Express Racing is no stranger to victory lane at Daytona, as the No. 5 team took the overall victory in the 52nd running of the Rolex 24.

The team consists of Joao Barbosa, IndyCar driver Sebastain Bourdais, Christian Fittipaldi, and Burt Frisselle.

With around ten minutes to go, a caution bunched up the field after a long day of racing, with the No. 5 team continuing to lead and the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing team lurking in second.

Barbosa put the pedal to the metal and finished 1.461 seconds ahead of Max Angelelli.

Kyle Busch Motorsports announces Erik Jones is splitting driving duties in the #51 truck with his owner Kyle Busch this season.

The team is looking to repeat as owner’s champions in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.
