They’ll turn left, then right, and then right again on Saturday afternoon when the Nationwide Series rolls into Elkhart Lake, WI for their first of three road course races this season. In years past, races at Road America never seem to be lacking excitement. Wild restarts and hot tempers have highlighted past races which always categorize this race as one of the best of season. Making the Right Moves Leaves Regan Smtih in Victory Lane at Michigan

Dicing through the pack toward the end of Saturday afternoon’s Nationwide Series Race at Michigan allowed Regan Smith to take the lead after Parker Kligerman had to pit. Kligerman played the rain game, but failed and that left a golden opportunity for Smith. This is win number two for Smith on the season and increases his point lead to much more than a full-race. It all came together for Smith and allowing him to leave the track in a better place than he entered on Saturday.  Continue reading

Nationwide Series Alliance Truck Parts 250 Preview

The Irish Hills will be the host of this weekend’s Nationwide Series race, the Alliance Truck Parts 250. Michigan has turned into a bad fast track after the repave of track before last season. Drivers will be testing the limits of this two-mile track and it will surely be a fight all afternoon long. This is the manufacturers’ home race and everyone wants to look good in victory lane while celebrating with their manufacturer after a long afternoon in Michigan. Continue reading
